<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide apparatus, systems, and methods for controlling the luminance of LEDs of a display by shortening a time amount needed to charge a data bus capacitor. <P>SOLUTION: One apparatus includes a pre-charge circuit 440 configured to supply a pre-charge voltage to a column of LED pixels, a programming circuit 340 configured to supply current to the column, and a switch 450 configured to selectively couple the pre-charge circuit or the programming circuit to the column. A system includes an array of LED pixels arranged in a plurality of columns.
