PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-produce axial spring improved to secure an expansion gap in the fore-and-aft direction at good accuracy while preventing deterioration in productivity when taking a means for obtaining a spring constant in a desired horizontal direction by providing a lightened part in an elastic layer of an elastic part. SOLUTION: In this axial spring, an elastic part 5 with a laminated rubber structure with a plurality of elastic layers 3 and hard partition walls 4 alternately laminated in a radial inward and outward direction under a concentric condition with an axis Z is interposed between a main axis 1 and an outer cylinder 2 having the same axis A as the main axis. An innermost hard partition wall 4A adjacent to the outside of an innermost elastic layer 3A positioned nearest the main axis in the elastic layers 3 is formed like a tube, and lightened parts 6, 6 are formed in the innermost elastic layer 3A so that the relative movement of the innermost hard partition wall 4A and the main axis 1 in a radial direction is easier in a predetermined direction than in other directions.
