摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display respective gradations within a low gradation range by pixels in a row selected first in an effective scanning period with high reproducibility. <P>SOLUTION: This display device has pixels PX arrayed in a matrix form and video signal lines DL arrayed corresponding to columns that the pixels PX form, wherein each pixel PX includes a light emitting element LED, a transistor DR having its source connected to a power supply terminal ND1, a capacitor C including an electrode connected to the gate of the transistor DR, a switch SWa connected between the drain of the transistor DR and the power supply terminal ND2 in series with the light emitting LED, and switch groups SWb and SWc switching connections of the drain and gate of the transistor DR and a video signal line DL between a state where they are connected to each other and a state where they are disconnected from each other, and rows that the pixels PX form include a plurality of rows wherein transistors DR have a deeper threshold voltage and a plurality of rows wherein driving transistors DR have a shallower threshold voltage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
