<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion device excellent in manufacturing cost and manufacturing efficiency, in which a pressurizing member for pressurizing a semiconductor stacked unit can be easily arranged with a small force, and also to provide its production method. <P>SOLUTION: There is disclosed a manufacturing method for a power conversion device 1 having a semiconductor stacked unit 2 obtained by alternately stacking a semiconductor module 21 and a cooling pipe 22. After the semiconductor stacked unit 2 is arranged on the housing 11 of the power conversion device 1, a pressurizing member 3 with an abutting plate 31 and a spring member 32 is arranged at one end in the stacking direction of the semiconductor stacked unit 2. The spring member 32 has a press part 321 and a support part 322. A press tool 4 is abutted on a pair of spring ends 323 further outside than the support part 322 of the spring member 32 to push the spring end 323 in the abutting plate 31 side to arrange a pair of support bodies (support pines 13) with the spring member 32 elastically deformed.
