PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating the toner scattering properties in a gaseous phase reflecting the actual behavior of toner particles in an actual machine, and to provide a system for evaluating the toner scattering properties. SOLUTION: A toner scattering device constituted so as to be matched with an actual toner scattering model case is used as a source to scatter toner particles and the air flow containing the scattered toner particles is introduced into a separation part (e.g., Andersen sampler) constituted of a combination of a nozzle 1 and a collision plate 2 by dry gas (e.g., air) dynamical force and ejected from the nozzle 1 to separate and classify the toner particles in the air flow into a particle group with low scattering properties and a particle group with high scattering properties in a plurality of the separation parts arranged to a separator.
