PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly measure the dusting amount of asbestos from the surface of a target being an asbestos-containing material. SOLUTION: This dusting amount measuring instrument of asbestos is equipped with a cover 2 for airtightly covering the periphery of a measuring target region, a suction pipe 3 for sucking air in the cover, a trap mechanism 4 having the membrane filter, which is mounted on the leading and part of the suction pipe to be arranged in the cover to collect asbestos dust in the sucked air, built therein, the suction pump 5 connected to the base end of the suction pipe, a flowmeter 6 for measuring the suction amount of air by the suction pump, the jet pipe 7 provided so as to pierce through the cover to blow the air outside the cover against the measuring target region from its leading end by the suction force of the suction pump and a trap mechanism 8 having the membrane filter, which is mounted on the base end part of the jet pipe, built therein.
