<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multivalued information recording/reproducing method which provides a stable tracking servo by suppressing low-frequency components of a reproducing signal of learning data. <P>SOLUTION: N is the number of cells in one set which is a minimum unit of learning for detecting influence of an inter symbol interference, and k is a natural number which specifies a length with constant DSV (Digital Sum Value) in the learning data. The 2×N×k cells constitutes one block with respect to the number of cells N and the natural number k. The learning data structured to have continued blocks, each having a constant value of DSV (digital sum value), is added to the multi-valued data and recorded in a recording medium.
