PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-shielding roll blind capable of performing comfortable and certain operation by a simple means. SOLUTION: The light-shielding roll blind for automobile window glass has a flexible surface formation article (40) capable of being wound and unwound on a winding shaft (43) movable from a stand-by position to a protection position at least partially unwound using at least one linear guide means (5, 105); and a releasable blocking device (7), and the linear guide means (5, 105) can be fixed to at least one position, in particular, the protection position and/or the stand-by position by the blocking device.
