PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent as far as possible of faulty laminated film members from being half cut and allow a high quality and efficient lamination processing by a simple operation. SOLUTION: The invention relates to an applying process in which a photosensitive resin layer 28 is exposed by partially eliminating a protective film 30 from a photosensitive long web 22, and laminated on a glass substrate 24. An upcoming half-cut processing is suspended when a faulty spot is detected in the photosensitive long web 22 through a photoelectric sensor 104, which is arranged in a position, upstream and less than applying length of the photosensitive long web 22, from a half-cut position; and the member suspended from half-cut is discarded without being applied on the glass substrate 24.
