PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brush capable of surely preventing bristle tufts from falling from a bristle tuft holding member even when the adhesion of an adhesive to the bristle tuft holding member lowers by use for a long period of time. SOLUTION: The brush 10 includes a horizontally long roughly rectangular thick handle 11 and a plurality of small brush parts 15 raised on the bottom surface of the handle 11. The small brush part 15 includes the bristle tufts 16 and the bristle tuft holding member 17 made of a resin for supporting them. The bristle tuft holding member 17 has a tightening part 18 on the lower end side, a positioning part 19 on the inner side, an intermediate part 21 having a threaded groove, and an upper side part 22, and a through-hole 23 is provided on one part of the outer peripheral surface of the upper side part 22. In a state that one end side of the bristle tuft 16 is inserted into the bristle tuft holding member 17, the adhesive 24 is inserted into the bristle holding member 17, permeates the bristles 16 and hardened, and a part of the adhesive is formed as a locking part 24a which enters the through-hole 23.
