PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing/drying machine in which laundry in an environment where bacteria develops is disinfected only by drying, and laundry washed or rinsed with bathtub water is disinfected by drying. SOLUTION: When a ventilation duct 20 is fully closed by a damper device 37 in drying operation, circulated air is released from a release hole 36 into an outer box 1, and reintroduced from an introduction hole 40. The introduction hole 40 is provided with a PTC heater 41 to heat the introduced air to a high temperature for disinfection. When only the drying course is selected or bathtub water is used in the washing and drying course, drying is performed by using a heat pump 34 in the first half of drying operation, and drying is performed by using the PTC heater 41 heated for disinfection in the second half of the drying operation.
