An inkjet printer (A) includes a housing (6) having a discharge opening (47) for discharging printed paper sheets (P1, P2) to the outside, a drying chamber (71) placed at a position that is in the housing (6) and is in a conveyance path at a position on the downstream, relative to a paper conveyance direction, of a print head (H) and communicating with the discharge opening (47), and a drying device (72) for discharging, into the dying chamber (71), drying air (W) for drying ink adhering to the printed paper sheets (P1, P2). The drying device (72) is constructed to discharge the drying air (W) toward the downstream, relative to the paper conveyance direction, in the drying chamber (71) and is adapted so that the drying air (W) discharged from the drying device (72) is discharged to the outside of the housing (6) through the discharge opening (47).
