#CMT# #/CMT# The switch (8) has a housing (9), and an operating unit (10) projecting from a handle (3) of a power tool, where the operating unit is adjustable between an initial position and a final position. A control device (11) is arranged in the housing and provided for controlling and/or regulating an electric motor (4) of the power tool based on an adjusting path of the operating unit. A braking circuit (13) is arranged in the housing and switched-on for braking of the electric motor during the resetting of the operating unit to the initial position. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Electrical switch for a power tool e.g. electrical boring machine, drill hammer, electric screw driver (claimed) and battery power tool. Can also be used for a grinder, saw, planar, angle grinder and electrical device e.g. electrical household appliance, electrical gardening tool, machine tool and control device. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The braking circuit is switched-on for braking of the electric motor during the resetting of the operating unit to the initial position, thus reducing the wear in the components of the electric motor, and hence increasing the durability of an energy storage of the power tool.
