摘要 A wireless terminal and an operation method is provided to synchronize with a base station by successfully performing by performing correlating operation with a multi-branch psync. A wireless terminal operates in order to receive a wide band code division multiple access(WCDMA) signal from a clock circuit, wireless interface and a PSYNC(Primary Synchronization) module. The clock circuit produces a wireless terminal clock by using an oscillator of a wireless terminal. The wireless interface uses the clock of a base station which is more exact than the oscillator of the wireless terminal. The wireless interface receives the WCDMA signal generated by the base station. A PSYNC module(1200) comprises a plurality of PSYNC correlation branches(1204A~1204N). Each PSYNC correlation branch rotates the WCDMA signal on the basis of each frequency offset with the phase.
