<p>A feeder (100) is configured to dispense particulate material at a desired rate. The feeder comprises a hopper (210) positioned in a cabinet (110, 901) the hopper (210) defining a dispense opening (330) with a feed tube (112) being connected to the dispense opening (330) and an auger (222) being positioned within said tube (112). The feeder can include an additional discharge system (340) that allows, for the particulate material to be' removed from the feeder in an efficient manner. The feeder can include a roller (354) and opposing paddles (352, 452) that assist in the agitation of the hopper to facilitate dispensing of the particulate material.</p> |
