<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for selectively oxidizing/removing carbon monoxide from the gas containing hydrogen and carbon monoxide of the amount smaller than that of hydrogen, particularly, a method for selectively removing carbon monoxide at ≤100°C. <P>SOLUTION: A gaseous mixture obtained by mixing an oxygen-containing gas in the gas containing hydrogen and carbon monoxide of the amount smaller than that of hydrogen is brought into contact with a catalyst obtained by depositing a noble metal on at least one carrier selected from the group consisting of a carbon nanotube, a carbon nanofiber and fullerence. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
