<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output a high-quality image having simple constitution, even when images different in resolution and/or gradation exist mixed. <P>SOLUTION: In an image processing part 22 of a printer controller 20, an image conversion part 221 generates image data of characters or line drawings of a gradation value n1, and the image data of photographic images of a gradation value n2 (n2>n1), based on print control data. Thereafter, an encoding part 222 encodes the image data of the characters or line drawing of a gradation level n1, to generate encoded data of a gradation value n2. An attribute attachment part 223 generates attribute data, respectively showing the attributes of images for the encoded data of the characters or line drawings of a gradation value n2, and the generated image data of the photographic images of a gradation value n2, and attaches them to the respective image data. A combining part 224 combines the encoded data of the characters or line drawings and the image data of the photographic data, with the attribute data attached thereto with each other to output the combined data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
