<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid type IC card having high durability to prevent internal portion electrically connected from being separated due to an expected bending stress, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes steps of connecting metal plates 13 to two end portions of an antenna coil 12 wound in a card board 11 by resistance welding, respectively; providing grooved portions 13a on top faces of the other ends of the metal plates 13, and arranging the groove-formed portions to face antenna connection-terminals 18 of COB including an IC module 16 and a small substrate 17, respectively; and inserting the COB into a perforated portion 15 on the card board 11 and applying pressure and heat, thereby soldering and connecting the grooved portions 13a of the metal plates 13 and the antenna connection-terminals 18.
