<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating device and electric apparatus which enable complicated and complex operations. <P>SOLUTION: A pointing device 1 includes: an operating panel 12 capable of moving in a plurality of directions from a given position; a plurality of ductile switches 13 arranged on the surface of the operating panel 12; and an operation signal output connector 16 which outputs an operation signal according to the on/off state of the ductile switch 13 and the direction of move of the operating panel 12.
