<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of rehabilitating a mounting pipe capable of surely cutting off water for a long period near the opening of a mounting between an existing main pipe and the mounting pipe. <P>SOLUTION: This method for rehabilitating a mounting pipe 3 connected to the existing main pipe 1 from the ground side uses a mounting pipe mouth repairing member comprising a saddle part 8 in which a hole 6 is formed and a metal ring member 10 installed around the hole 6 of the saddle 8 on the outer periphery of an elastic cylindrical part 9. The repairing member coated with an adhesive 12 on the upper surface of the saddle 8 is moved in the existing main pipe 1, and the saddle 8 is so stuck on the inner peripheral surface 7 of the existing main pipe 1 that the cylindrical part 9 comes into the mouth 4 of the mounting pipe. A synthetic resin rehabilitated pipe 5 is fed into the mounting pipe 3 from the ground surface, and inserted into the cylindrical part 9 of the repairing member.
