<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly durable and reliable magnetic encoder in which a metal reinforcing ring and a ring-like multipolar magnet do not peel off even due to their thermal expansion difference and are firmly joined to each other into one piece. <P>SOLUTION: The magnetic encoder 10 includes both the metal reinforcing ring 13 fitted in and mounted to a rotation-side member 2 into one piece and the ring-like multipolar magnet 14 fastened to the metal reinforcing ring into one piece by an adhesive to detect rotation by a magnetic sensor 9 fixed to a fixed-side member 5 with the metal reinforcing ring and the ring-like multipolar magnet. A protrusion part 14a for securing a layer thickness (r) of the adhesive is formed on the side of an adhesive surface 14b of the ring-like multipolar magnet with the metal reinforcing ring. An adhesive layer 15 having the layer thickness based on the height of the protrusion part is formed by the protrusion part between the metal reinforcing ring and the ring-like multipolar magnet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
