摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently acquire the newest weather information about necessary regions in a navigation device mounted on a vehicle. SOLUTION: The navigation device includes the steps of: acquiring weather information distributed from a distribution server (step S130); setting recommended routes up to destinations (step S150); thereafter detecting current weather in a current spot (step S160); judging whether the detected current weather matches with acquired weather information or not (step S170). As the result, the navigation device classifies each of regions passed in recommended routes into any one of an updating object region or a non-updating object region by setting an updating object region (step S180) when it is judged that the current weather does not match with the acquired weather information. The navigation device re-acquires weather information about the updating object region classified in step S180 by executing step S130 again. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
