摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique of controlling deterioration of image-quality caused by cohesion and bleed of an ink. SOLUTION: A printing apparatus which performs a printing by discharging a pigment ink onto a printing medium is provided. The printing apparatus is equipped with a printing part which performs the printing by mutually combining two or more dot groups including a precedent dot group formed in a precedent printing head for discharging the droplet of the pigment ink to the printing medium precedently and a succeeding dot group formed in a succeeding printing head for discharging the pigment ink droplet to the printing medium succeedingly in a common printing area in each main scan. The printing part is composed so that the precedent dot density, i.e., the dot density of the precedent dot group may become higher than the succeeding dot density, i.e., the dot density of the succeeding dot group.
