PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct an apartment house capable of preventing its cost from increasing greatly while ensuring a storage space at a lower story. SOLUTION: This apartment house 1 is provided with the first story 10 and a second story 20. A first story entrance space 11 provided with the entrance, an underfloor space 12 positioned in an innermost part of the first story entrance space 11 and having a ceiling formed to be lower than a ceiling of the first story entrance space 11, and a first story living room space 13 positioned above the underfloor space 12 and having a ceiling formed to be higher than the ceiling of the first story entrance space 11 are provided at the first story 10. A second story entrance space 21 positioned above a first story first space 11 and provided with the entrance, a second story living room space 22 positioned above the first story living room space 13 and having a ceiling formed to be higher than a ceiling of the second story entrance space 21, and a loft space 23 positioned above the second story entrance space 21 are provided at the second story 20.
