PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide shutter equipment which can minimize a battery capacity by generating electric power by the descent of a shutter by self-weight and using the electric power as operating power of an obstacle sensor etc., and which can facilitate maintenance. SOLUTION: This shutter equipment makes an opening opened by winding a shutter curtain 14, and makes the opening closed by unwinding. The shutter equipment comprises: a winding shaft 23 which serves as a shaft for winding and unwinding the shutter curtain 14; a power generating unit 26 which generates electric power by a shaft rotated in direct or indirect synchronization with the rotation of the winding shaft 23; and the obstacle sensor which is provided at the lower end of the shutter curtain 14 so as to detect an obstacle existing on the locus of the movement of the shutter curtain 14.
