PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unconstructed jacket whose favorable outer shape and appearance can be kept without using any interlining cloth and any shoulder pad. SOLUTION: The unconstructed jacket is structured as follows: in a front body part delimiting the outer shape and/or the outer appearance of the unconstructed jacket, the lining cloth is provided with a protruding part getting outward from the outer shape edge of the superimposed facing cloth at at least one edge part of the end part, the neckline part and the arm hole part at the mating side to which a facing is connectedly set, whereas the facing cloth is usually formed to have the outer shape; and the outer shape edges of the facing cloth and the lining cloth having different shapes from each other are sewn up to be aligned at the position where the protruding part is formed so as to eliminate unstable load caused at the curved face part or the bending part between the facing cloth and the lining cloth due to the difference in inner and outer diameters.
