A digital contents managing server transceiving digital contents by using broadcasting and unicasting in parallel is provided to offer the contents to a user smoothly by using present resources, and using broadcasting and unicasting in parallel. A database(110) stores a time table of the programs to be provided. A communication interface part(120) communicates with a first server transmitting a part of contents of each program to an STB(Set-Top Box) based on the time table. A controller(130) controls the communication interface to transmit the stored time table to the first server.
