<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC tag access device capable of more improving processing efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The IC tag access device 10 is provided with two communication parts, namely, a first communication part 24 and a second communication part 26 which transmit/receive radiowave to an IC tag 102 to communicate with the IC tag 102. When communication processing using the first communication part 24 fails, the communication processing is re-executed using the second communication part 26. A control part judges a cause of a failure of the communication processing based on the two same communication processings performed by the communication parts 24. Specifically, the communication processing files in both of the communication parts 24, 26, it is judged that the failure resulting from the IC tag 102. When the failure is caused in one of the two communication parts 24, 26 and the communication processing is successful in the other, it is judged that the failure resulting from the communication part in which the failure is caused. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
