PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an alarm engineering support device for achieving an alarm test of whether or not the processing and display of an alarm can be correctly performed by generating a pseudo alarm. SOLUTION: This alarm engineering support device for supporting the engineering of an alarm generated in a plant is provided with an alarm generation scenario file for defining the type and generation timing of a pseudo alarm; a plant measurement information DB for storing the measurement information of a plant; and a pseudo alarm generation means for generating a pseudo alarm according to the alarm generation scenario file, and for adding the measurement information of the plant in generating the pseudo alarm by referring to the plant measurement information DB.
