PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of easily inexpensively repairing a defective pixel, and to provide a display device in which the defective pixel is repaired by the method. SOLUTION: In the display device 10 in which pixels are arrayed on a support substrate 12, a light transmissive structure 24 is provided on at least a part of the light extraction side of the defective pixel 22b turned to a normally put-out state among the pixels. The defective pixel turned to the normally put-out state among the pixels arrayed on the support substrate is specified by an inspection, and the light transmissive structure is provided to at least a part of the light extraction side of the defective pixel in the normally put-out state.
