PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach an optical film precisely on both sides of a display panel without forming air bubbles, and the like by ensuring the attaching quality of the optical films and by realizing the attaching position accuracy of the polarizing plates even in the case optical films to be attached on both sides of a display panel have different sizes. SOLUTION: In the case of attaching an optical film on both sides of a display panel simultaneously, with the attachment starting positions provided on the insides of first and second optical films, the films are attached first in the vicinity of the tip end parts while moving first, second attaching rollers and first, second attachment starting end part supporting means. Then, at the time of attaching the remaining parts of the optical films, they are attached while moving the display panel with stopping the first, second attaching rollers.
