PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve transmission characteristics by optimizing the arrangement direction of a reception antenna for spatially multiplexed communication. SOLUTION: A wireless receiver includes: a reference antenna T0; a plurality of antennas T1-T8 in which the direction of a straight line from arrangement positions of the respective antennas through an arrangement position of the reference antenna T0 becomes different in each of the antennas; antenna switches 31A, 31B for selecting one or more antennas from among the plurality of antennas T1-T8; and a reception processing section (built in a camera apparatus 2 in this embodiment) which inputs a plurality of reception signals that can be obtained when the selected one or more antennas and the reference antenna T0 receive a plurality of signals, respectively, and performs demodulation processing for spatial multiplexing for the plurality of reception signals.
