PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the flexibility of coping with a request of service accompanied by image processing. SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus 10 includes: a function specification section 22 which specifies functions of constituting a service requested by a user; an apparatus specification section 24 which refers to packaged function information containing a list of functions packaged in the network-connected other apparatus, respectively, and specifies any other apparatus packaging therein a function that is not packaged in the present apparatus beforehand from among the functions specified by the function specification section 22; a function program acquisition section 25 which acquires a relevant function program by downloading it from the other apparatus specified by the apparatus specification section 24 and packages the relevant function in the present apparatus; and a processing execution section 26 which executes service processing requested by the user by implementing the function packaged in the present apparatus.
