摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for obtaining a molded raw material to be sintered having high strength even when having reduced the amount of a used organic binder which is used for improving the strength of the molded raw material to be sintered, and to provide a method for producing the molded raw material to be sintered which is profitably used for shortening a sintering period of time, reducing an amount of charcoal wood to be added and attaining an adequate productivity. SOLUTION: In a process for producing the molded raw material to be sintered with a water content of 4.0 mass% or less, by mixing coke breeze and an auxiliary material powder in addition to a powder of raw iron ore, adding water and a binder to the mixed raw material to be sintered, molding the mixture and then drying the molded product, this production method includes controlling the water content of the mixed raw material to be sintered to 8 to 10 mass% which is more than the proper water content for granulation, and also adding the powdery organic binder made from a gum-based material or a cellulosic thickener, which has an action as the binder even after the evaporation of water, or a mixture binder of the powdery organic binder and an inorganic binder, to the above mixed raw material to be sintered to mold the mixture.
