PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute appropriate air fuel ratio control without excessively correcting air fuel ratio even if fuel injection quantity is subjected to learning correction during cold engine state with using air fuel ratio learning value set after completion of warming up. SOLUTION: The air fuel ratio learning value KLR is searched by referring a map based on engine speed NE and base fuel injection quantity Tp, and an air fuel ratio learning correction coefficient KBLRC is set from the air fuel ratio learning value KLR (S6). When cooling water temperature Tw and warming up judgment water temperature To are compared with each other and it is judged that the engine is in cold start state or in a middle of warming up where cooling water temperature Tw is lower than warming up judgment water temperature To, the air fuel ratio learning correction coefficient KBLRC is corrected based on cooling water temperature Tw and air fuel ratio learning correction coefficient KBLRC in cold state is newly set (S9). The base fuel injection quantity Tp is corrected with the air fuel ratio learning correction coefficient KBLRC and fuel injection quantity Ti of an injector 11 is set by learning correction with the air fuel ratio learning correction coefficient KBLRC (S11).
