PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit fluid friction and entanglement of contamination on a cover surface and improve assemble workability in an impeller for a centrifugal pump provided with an impeller main body including asymmetric shape blades and having a hollow part formed on an upper surface side, and a cover covering the hollow part of the impeller main body. SOLUTION: The impeller 11 is provided with the impeller main body 11a and the cover 70 covering the hollow part 33 of the impeller main body 11a. A through hole 71 is formed on the cover 70 and a pin hole 62 is formed on the impeller main body 11a. A pin 72 regulating the cover 70 not to rotate relatively to the impeller main body 11a is fitted in the through hole 71 of the cover 70 and in the pin hole 62 of the impeller main body 11a.
