PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple device and a high speed method for manufacturing sausages, making sausage casing production easy, which casing can be added with large stress. SOLUTION: A coextrusion head 1 for coextruding the paste mass and a casing material for the sausage casing 20 has a filling tube 2 for the ejection of the paste mass and an extrusion die assigned to the filling tube having an extrusion gap for ejecting the casing material. In order to produce strong sausage casings 20, the filling tube 2 protrudes by a distance X beyond the annular gap so that the casing material is extruded through the annular gap onto the filling tube and solidifies along the filling tube 2.
