PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a reinforcing member, or the reinforcing member of a band-like article used for the regeneration method of the existing pipe, that is prevented from being corroded. SOLUTION: The reinforcing member 3 is formed as follows: a coiled, long-shape, metal-made flat sheet is uncoiled from at the outer periphery; the metal-made flat sheet is preheated with a heater; a resin film is coated on the surface of the preheated metal-made flat sheet by a resin coating apparatus; and the sheet is gradually formed into the reinforcing member having a long and predetermined shape by a molding apparatus. The reinforcing member is fitted in the band-like member 2, to form the long band-like article 1 used for the regeneration method of the existing pipe. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
