PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve amusement by increasing chances of occurrence of special game states in a combination type game machine. SOLUTION: The combination type game machine has the following components: a symbol display device 31 which performs stop-display of a symbol after fluctuation-display of symbols under predefined conditions; a variable ball-entrance device which opens a first and a second variable ball-entrance holes 32 and 33 when the symbol on the symbol display device 31 is a specified symbol; and a special game generation device. When a game ball entering the first variable ball-entrance hole 32 enters a specified region, the special game generation device increases probability that the symbol stopped and displayed on the symbol display device 31 is the specified symbol during a specified number of times of unit games. In a final unit game while the special game generation device is operated, at least one of periods of symbol fluctuation and for symbol stop-display is extended. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
