PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus capable of compatibly reducing the dose of a cine scanning and improving the S/N of an image, and to provide an image reconstruction method. SOLUTION: The X-ray CT apparatus which photographs cine images by the cine scanning reconstructs (504) a plurality of continuous images on the basis of a data set for which gathering is started at a time interval shorter than the time required for one rotation of the cine scanning on the basis of data obtained by continuous cine scanning (503), and respectively generates (505) the images of the respective frames of the cine images by the addition of the predetermined number each of the continuous images from the plurality of images.
