A system for differentially collecting the fee of SMS(Short Message Service) origination when using a global roaming service are provided to charge a user for SMS transmission differentially by country when using a global roaming service by using a mobile communication terminal. A GLR(210) analyzes the position information of an originating terminal, which transmits an SMS message, when receiving a global roaming SMS message from an MSC(216). In addition, the GLR includes MSCID, which has the position information of the originating terminal, to an SMDPP message and transmits the SMDPP message. An SMC(212) transmits the received SMDPP message to a receiving terminal through the MSC at which a domestic receiving terminal(200) is placed, generates the charge data depending on the transmission of the SMS message, and transmits the generated charge data to a billing center(214) with the MSCID parameter. The billing center analyzes the MSCID from the SMS transmission charge data, recognizes the originating country of the SMS message, and processes the fee for the SMS transmission service by country differentially. |
