<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To unitize an air bag stored in a shape retaining cover while arranging the air bag in a predetermined position of a protector all the time. <P>SOLUTION: In the air bag device, engagement pieces 6-1 are formed in the protector 5, and engagement parts 7-1 engaged with the engagement pieces 6-1 are formed in the shape retaining cover 3. The engagement part 7-1 is constituted by an inlet side engagement hole 7-1a to which the engagement piece 6-1 is inserted and engaged and by an outlet side engagement hole 7-1b from which an engagement hook part 6-1a on the tip side of the engagement piece 6-1 is protruded after inserted to the inlet side engagement hole 7-1a so as to be engaged with the outlet side engagement hole 7-1b. The air bag 2 is assembled to and arranged in the protector 5 together with the shape retaining cover 3, and unitization is performed so that the air bag 2 is assembled to and arranged in the predetermined position of the protector 5 together with the shape retaining cover 3 all the time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
