<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically edit a handwritten object to be displayed in a predetermined area on a display screen in association with the size and shape of the area. <P>SOLUTION: The display control device for controlling display on a display screen 401 comprises a means 405 for designating an area 407 on the display screen 401; a means for extracting a plurality of handwritten character images displayed in the area 407 and calculating a circumscribed rectangular area circumscribed to each handwritten character image; a means for determining a layout of the calculated circumscribed rectangular area 402 so as to be contained in the area 407 after deformation when the circumscribed rectangular area is determined to be excluded from the area 407 after deformation by deformation of the area 407, and calculating a position of the circumscribed rectangular area 402; and a means for displaying the handwritten image 402 in the calculated position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
