<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate incompatibility that a user hears disconnected sound when playing a rapid passage with a conventional electronic piano compared with an acoustic piano. <P>SOLUTION: The synthesizer is provided with: the first sound signal generation means 1 for generating a sound signal representing sound associated with cyclic vibrations of a string of a piano; the second sound signal generation means 2 for generating the sound signal representing the sound due to an impact of hammering the string with a hammer of the piano; and damping control means 3-5 for controlling a damping manner of the sound signal generated by the first sound signal generation means independently of the sound signal generated by the second sound signal generation means 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
