<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultra high density optical recording medium which determines an optimum recording power by applying an OPC method using β values as a parameter. <P>SOLUTION: The optical recording medium 20 comprises a reflective layer 21, a recording layer 22 primarily consisting of pigment, an interface layer 30, and a cover layer 24 sequentially laminated on a substrate 21 on which a guide groove is formed, and facilitates determination of the optimum recording power by selecting a proper interface layer 30 to achieve a linear relation between the β value and the recording power. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
