<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arrangement structure for an automobile control lever positioned below an instrument panel, capable of simplifying a mounting structure of the control lever as much as possible even when the control lever is installed in a door hinge pillar and of preventing increase in manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: In the lower part of the instrument panel 1, a mounting extension part 30 is formed so as to partially project downward. On the cabin inner side of the mounting extension part 30, a hinge pillar trim 50 is installed from the vehicle body front side to the vehicle body rear side so as to cover the mounting extension part 30.
