PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching power supply providing a constant frequency characteristics, regardless of the magnitude of input/output voltage. SOLUTION: The switching power supply having a switching element for controlling an output power supply voltage based on the pulse width of a drive signal and controlling the output voltage by driving the switching element, based on the drive signal of the pulse width on the basis of a control amount, comprises: a sampling means 21 for sampling the output voltage; a deviation calculating means 31 for obtaining a deviation from the difference between the output voltage obtained by the sampling means and a reference voltage; a control amount computing means 34 for computing a correction deviation with the obtained deviation and input voltage to obtain the control amount for controlling the pulse width of the switching element, based on the correction deviation; and a driving means 11 for generating the drive signal of the pulse width based on the control amount from the control amount computing means 34.
