PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter array and an image sensor using the same. SOLUTION: This color filter is configured of a two-dimensional array including a plurality of first color filters, a plurality of second color filters and a plurality of third color filters, and the first, second and third color filters are periodically arrayed, and at least one of the first, second and third filters formed in the first region of the two-dimensional array and the first, second and third color filters formed in the second region of the two-dimensional array are made mirror-symmetrical.
