PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical member which is not equipped with an aperture part for rotating an optical element on a housing, and has no restriction on a rotating range, and a microscope having the same. SOLUTION: The optical member 10 includes: a cylindrical member 11 holding the optical element 17; a holding member 18 arranged inside the cylindrical member and holding the optical element in a turnable manner in the circumferential direction of the cylindrical member; a circular operation member 22 opposed to the holding member on the outer circumferential of the cylindrical member and arranged to be slidable in the circumferential direction of the cylindrical member; and driving force transmitting members 21 and 23 arranged at least in either the holding member or the operation member, composed of a magnet or material containing ferromagnetic substance, and transmitting driving force from the operation member to the holding member.
