PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of nickel nanoparticles, capable of producing, by a simple method, uniform nickel nanoparticles excellent in dispersibility and having a size of 30-50 nm, and not requiring another reduction step. SOLUTION: The production method of nickel nanoparticles includes: a step of producing a mixed solution by adding a reducing agent, a dispersant, and a nickel salt to a polyol solvent; a step of stirring the mixed solution to raise its temperature; and a step of reacting the mixed solution to generate nickel nanoparticles.
